The film is not a compilation of material collected over several years, but simply reflects the result of a regular 10-day fishing trip in the local area. The local infrastructure can hardly be topped, the petrol station for boat fuel is right next door (credit card with PIN required), the shop is practically at your feet and down by the jetty there is a perfectly thought out filleting area as well as a drying room and freezers for your surely plentiful capture. In the entrance area, there is even a PC with Internet access available free of charge to check the current weather conditions at any time or to post catch reports on the Internet. Your host, Per, knows Roan like no one else and will be available to advise on both fishing and other activities. The wonderful scree fishing in the southern Skjørafjord must also be mentioned. We tried ourselves at the end of March 2015 and got 200 kg of fish in three fishing days. Another fishing group caught cod of up to 24kg in early March, and a year earlier the boys even had a 50kg halibut in the boat. Your host can, on request, moor two of his boats at this fjord if necessary - then it's only a 3-5 minute walk to the very best fishing spots.
