Røttingsnesskolen

Proximity to several excellent fishing spots in the crossing area between the Alvundfjord and Nesøysundet and the quality boat fleet make Røttingsnesskolen one of our personal favorites in the area. To "warm up", you can start with the sandy fjord bay not far from Meisingset. Here you will not only get some nice flounder, but also the occasional cod or haddock. So, at the outlet of the bay of Sandneset, you should spend a few hours or days catching large languor. If you still have enough stamina, you can continue to the hotspot off the island of Kvitholmen to set some powerful records on light equipment. But before that, make a stop at Litlegrunnen and get some cod. And if you're very lucky, there will be a shoal of herring on Littlegrunnen - in that case you should of course aim for the large cod and pollack under the shoal.
