A 3 Day, one-way sea kayak tour for those that really want to spend quality time out in the fjords. Itinerary is based in the Nærøyfjord, the mountains above Dyrdal and the Aurlandsfjord. This trip will show you most of the spectacular Nærøyfjord in a way that allows you plenty of time to see and experience the fjords. You will get to know the other people on the tour better and it is rather like a group of friends paddling together than a guided tour.

On the trip we will visit areas only accessible by kayak or boats. Late afternoon we arrive at our campsite for the night where we pull out our kayaks and take a well deserved rest.

On day two we pack our daypacks after breakfast and begin our hike up the valley above Dyrdal. Our aim is to reach the highlands above the fjords and get of view of the spectacular fjord from above. For walking the tracks, firm footwear is required, but boots are not essential. We are likely to reach areas with snow up in the mountains as we go past the tree border, the contrasts to yesterdays kayaking shows the variety of the unspoiled nature found here. After having enjoyed some great views of the fjord some 1000 metres below we head back down to our campsite where we will prepare dinner and relax after the days hiking. We spend the night at camp.

After a leisurely breakfast on day three we break up camp and get back on the water where we continue kayaking north along the Nærøyfjord. We explore the magnificent cliff faces found here and hopefully spot some seals along our way. We are entering a part of the fjord where take-outs are rare and will pass one of the more majestic waterfalls entering the fjord on our way. We stop for lunch at noon. Mid afternoon we arrive in Undredal, a remote village at the Aurlandsfjord. Here we finish kayaking and pull out our kayaks . Here we will be able to enjoy a well deserved ice cream in the sun before the company shuttle arrives and return us back to Voss. Arriving back at Voss late afternoon we unload and sort out our personal items.

We can cater for most tastes and vegetarians are welcome. Special dietary needs need to be advised in advance. Meals are fresh, generous and varied.

Please note that we require a minimum of 4 people booked on before we confirm an overnight tour. It is therefore recommended to inquire or book well in advance, as we may not always be able to put together a tour on a short notice.
