Din Tur offers courses that set a proper foundation for
understanding kayaking and kayaking techniques. There is much more
to kayaking than often considered. Our white-water, or sea-kayak
courses is designed to be a complete introduction to start the
beginning and provide a thorough knowledge base. Topics: kayak
design and outfit, safety gear, efficient paddle strokes, stability
and edging, launch and land techniques, wet exit and self rescue,
hazards and plenty of time to practice. Some of the courses even
give you knowledge to prepare your own multi-day tour when knowing
what gear to bring and how to load your kayak.

The ideal course for anyone planning to buy or rent a kayak or even
for an experienced kayaker, who wants to learn a bit more
before venturing out on a long-distance trip of their own.
The course is a combined 2-day paddling tour including tuition for
beginners. After taking the course, you will feel confident
in your kayak, have better paddle skills and enough
experience to pack your kayak with the right gear for a trip
involving overnight camping with your friends.

Learn new skills with a course in paddling at sea.
These courses are approved in accordance with the NPF standard and
during the weekends, we run introduction courses and beginner
courses in paddling at sea. The introduction courses will enable
you to go on individual trips alone. They also qualify you for the
Norwegian "Våttkort" (wet card) which is often required to rent a
sea kayak. Welcome to fun days on the water!

River paddling is fun and not just for the
hotheads. Come and try the wonderful world of river paddling! This
course starts on calm water and rises in difficulty steadily but
safely as your confidence increases. Experienced instructors
provide thorough training in paddling techniques, survival and
rescue techniques and safe conduct on rivers. Good equipment keeps
the cold out, and you will feel safe all the
way.
