We thought it would be a good idea to send a Dutch journalist named Joop Folkers up here - he confirmed our thoughts of this brand new place - incredible fishing and many species. Especially redfish and strong coalfish got caught besides some nice halibut and heavy cod. If the wind is too strong for fishing offshore you can try the sheltered areas in Morsdalsfjorden or south of Fleina and Fugløya. In the summertime big shoals of large coalfish come in to hunt for small fish in Saltfjorden and Fleinværfjorden.

If you are really looking for a fishing adventure close to a bigger town then this is the place for you.

Season 2010 was very good with several halibuts, and in August one of our guests caught halibut 196kg!! They fighted a couple of hours and the great fish looks impressiv together with the lucky fisherman on the harbour!

Pluss many other species, so we looking forward to coming season!
