Vega is surrounded by small islands with interesting shorelines
and wonderful views inland and to the open sea. There are many
routes possible, and always an opportunity to go out in areas
protected from the weather.
Vega offers a superb location for a holiday. Based in a working
fishing port, we can take some great day trips (depending on the
weather) between the islets and inlets in protected surroundings.
This is the gateway to the world heritage site of Vega, where
unique traditions are kept alive for generations. If you are an
experienced sea kayaker you can explore the area on your own. We
will help you plan the trip and you will also find laminated maps
and routes for kayaking in the area. Experienced or not you may
join one of our guided tours to learn more about the area.
