Nyvoll Brygge

Nyvoll Brygge is perfectly located close to the best fishing spots at Stjernsundet, Vargsundet and Rognsundet. At first glance at the sea map it doesn’t look promising, but the Korsfjord area is usually underestimated.

If you have some understanding of tides and currents a sea of, possibilities opens up here. For example, at the narrow and shallow area Korsfjord bottom with a deep of 20-35 m it is worth fishing actively with medium-sized rubber fish such as Cutbait, Royber or Storm.

Also in the direct area between Eidnsesøyra and Flatskjær, you can expect good halibut fishing by drifting. Korsfjordklubben is also a popular place when it comes to the tasty redfish - 3-4 pounders are usually caught here. Much bigger specimens of over 5 kg can be caught towards Stjernsundet on the edges, where the water depth suddenly drops to well over 400m

In the summer you can also see some Norwegians come by with a salmon on their shoulder. Both in the sea and in the river Skillefjordelva you can expect great fish around 5-8kg in the season - ask your host for more information.
