Rotsund Seafishing

Rotsund Seafishing is a premium quality fishing camp located at Uløybukt, in the heart of excellent fishing grounds near Lyngen Fjord. High quality apartments with sauna are located 50m from the water line and offer high standard combined with fantastic views over Maursund and Kagen Island.

The private pier and floating bridge allow for easy docking, while a fleet of excellent aluminium boats of various sizes equipped with Yamaha engines and Garmin chart plotters offer comfort and safety. The fishing spots are plentiful, some as close as 5 minutes from the pier, and offer variety of fish, like cod, catfish, tusk, saithe, redfish to halibut.

The halibut fishing is particularly good here, with plentiful catches from May till October. The area allows fishing in almost any weather or high wind, with sheltered spots always available. Uløya also offers unforgettable surroundings of high alpine mountains falling straight down to the blue waters of the fjords.
