Biodiversity is the key word for this region. In the depths of the fjords you will find tusk, ling and redfish, on the marbanks lyr or on the plateaus for cod and haddock. Your host knows the best spots for most species. In spring, cod is undoubtedly the main fish in this area. The area west and south of the island of Aspøya offers good opportunities for natural bait fishing for larger cod, ling and tusk. However, you should not fish too deep here, because from 150m your lead regularly sinks into the mud. The highlight of this area, however, is the large shoals of pollock that migrate to the surrounding fjords in the summer. Less than 500 meters from the holiday home, you can experience real magical moments from July to September. And if you close your eyes in the evening after the first glass of beer on the veranda, don't worry - at Skjevlingsnes, that's exactly how it should be.
