INTRODUCTION TO DATA PROTECTION

We take protection of your personal data seriously, and this page tells you how Din Tur processes personal data. Din Tur exercises integrity and will therefore provide an open description of how we collect, use and process personal data when you use our services as a customer or potential customer. This applies whether you use our website, order holidays or use other services via us or a third party (e.g. sales agents, operators or newsletters), or communicate with us via phone, email, social media or the like. Din Tur will process all personal data in line with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

DIN TUR'S ROLE

Din Tur is regarded as the Data Controller for processing of your personal data, which is subcontracted to system suppliers (Data Processors), for storage and use of your personal data. What that means to you is that Din Tur has a duty to define and inform of the purpose of and length of time we store your personal data. Din Tur always follows the data protection legislation.

BUYING HOLIDAYS OR OTHER SERVICES

When you order holidays or other services via Din Tur's sales office, you will be asked for details such as name, phone number, home address, email address and a contract number, if you are already registered with us. In the event of online ordering, you will also be asked to enter payment details in the online payment solution Netaxept in addition to your contact details (card number, expiry date and CVV2 number), if you do not wish to have an invoice sent to you. In some instances, you can be asked for account number/bank details (IBAN and SWIFT/BIC address), for example to transact a refund.

It may also be necessary to obtain additional details, such as your state of health in connection with diet or disabilities. We may have to obtain passport details for applying for visas, or name and age in connection with ordering rental cars, air and ferry tickets. We will also use your personal data to send you a short questionnaire via email within ten days of your return home. Based on your feedback, it may be relevant for Din Tur to contact you for more information on your response.

In the event of changing a holiday or service ordered from Din Tur, we will use your personal data already registered. The same personal data will be used for reminders and to keep you updated and informed on your enquiries or orders. All orders concern services supplied by external Data Processors. To store and process your personal data, we use a cloud service supplied by Microsoft Azure. The purpose of data processing is to supply the service you want and have ordered.

Your personal data used to order and process your purchase will be stored in accordance with the relevant data protection directives, and in accordance with other laws, such as the Accounting Act.

MY PAGE AND REGISTERING A PROFILE

To make it easy to administer your profile, order and to make future orders, you will be allocated your own user interface, 'My Page', on our website. You can administer such processes quickly and simply there. The purpose is to simplify those processes, and we will protect your personal data until you withdraw your consent.

Your personal data used to order and process your purchase will be stored in accordance with the relevant data protection directives, and in accordance with other laws, such as the Accounting Act.

PERSONAL CUSTOMISATION

To be able to offer you the most relevant and user-friendly information, Din Tur will use your registered personal data. We want to give you customised information based on your registered preferences. For example, we will use your personal data and digital activities to send you customised information.

We also use your personal data from previous orders to prefill new orders. The purpose is to simplify the ordering process to save time for us and you as our customer.

If we detect any irregular activity on your profile (My Page), we will investigate, which can involve reviewing your personal data.

My Page allows you to opt out of customised information and the transfer of personal data to a Data Processor and third parties, e.g. newsletters, As long as it is not in breach of data protection directives or acts concerning the storage of personal data.

We process your personal data as described here according to the law, and this is your consent to our terms of use when you order services from Din Tur. It also justifies our interest in running our business and fulfils our legal duties.

DIN TUR'S CUSTOMER SUPPORT

To provide you with the best possible service and customer support, we want to process personal data to be able to identify you quickly and to help you efficiently. You can contact us via email, phone or letter, and we will respond as quickly and consistently as possible.

In some instances, we will ask for further personal data, e.g. customer number and charge card number (see item 3). The objective is to give you the best service and rapid response.

DIRECT MARKETING

We want to keep you informed and send you our best special offers. That's why we regularly send newsletters to your registered email address. We will always strive to do what we can to make sure the information we send to you is customised to your preferences. To be able to do so, we are of course dependent on processing you transaction history and email address.

Din Tur uses 'Getresponse' to store your mail address and compile newsletters, which means that Getrespons is regarded as a Data Processor. Getresponse will not use your personal data for any other purpose, and will only act as a service Din Tur uses to send you exciting and informative newsletters.

Your personal data will be securely stored until you decide to stop subscribing. When or if you do, you will be automatically deleted from our newsletter list and will receive confirmation that your subscription is closed. Stopping your subscription is easy, simply click on the 'end subscription' at the bottom of the newsletter. You will also find information on how to change your contact details if so desired.

Dintur.no uses cookies to gather data on visitors, to ensure that we can provide the best possible and user-friendly website. When you visit dintur.no, you consent to our cookies. YOUR RIGHTS

Din Tur has a duty to provide access, edit, limit and erase your personal data at your request. We also have a duty to provide you with a copy of your personal data upon request. If you already have a profile with Din Tur, you can ask for it to be edited or erased at any time. Such requests should be addressed directly to us at Din Tur, see our contact details under item 12.

You also have the right to withdraw your consent using the same page where you gave it. You only have limited rights in instances when we are obliged by law to maintain your personal data, such as under the Accounts Act. Personal data stored will be erased when no longer needed for business or statutory purposes. We will always comply with the relevant directives for storage and erasure of personal data.

EDITING PERSONAL DATA

This data protection declaration is a dynamic document which Din Tur will update without giving notification. We recommend that you check when the declaration was last updated - go to the very bottom of the document. We always recommend that you check when the last update was performed, and if you see new changes you do not accept, you should cease using our services. If you believe that Din Tur does not comply with the Personal Data Act sufficiently, you have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

THIRD PARTIES

The personal data declaration you are reading only applies to processing of your personal data by Din Tur. Third party suppliers of various services to be found on our website are governed by their own declarations. Din Tur has confidence in its third party suppliers, but is not liable for their processing of personal data.

We use services supplied by 'SumoMe' to collect email addresses, and a third party company called 'Getresponse' to compile and send relevant and informative newsletters. To be able to supply you with the products you order, we are also dependent on disclosing your personal data, such as contact details, number of people travelling, contract number and content to the service provider in question. In some instances (when necessary) we will also disclose flight number and arrival time to the accommodation you have booked. This applies in particular when transportation from airport to destination is booked.
